This independent battery management system works with chargers. It is intended for balancing, managing and performing diagnostics on up to 16 battery cells with capacity capped at 40Ah.
BMS-16 assures all of the functions necessary for precision battery management, which can significantly enhance and extend the lifespan of battery systems and significantly increase cost effectiveness overall.
A given in this system is independent care for every single cell, including critical diagnostics, PC-based configuration, data acquisition, real-time monitoring, logging and many other functions. In other applications, such as electric paraglides, the motor’s speed controller (MGM COMPRO HBC SERIES controllers) handles battery management during discharging. In these cases this system can be deployed along with chargers purely to protect and manage batteries during the charging process.
For such applications, the BMS does not have to be hardwired in to the system; rather it can be used simply and easily when the chargers are used to charge the batteries.
